The End is in Sight!

We have just finished up our last missions conference before we move to Honduras!  We had 3 consecutive conferences recently. DSC_0390 Grace and Truth Bible Church in Hummelstown, PA was our first of these 3 and we had a great time meeting the church family and wonderful fellow missionaries. DSC_0394-01 We followed that conference with Fairview Baptist in Smith’s Grove, KY.  How thrilling to see God using a smaller congregation to further His work of missions in the world!  It was extremely encouraging to see what God is doing in their church.  DSC_0392

We rounded out the 3 with a visit to Harvest Baptist in Natrona Heights, PA, near where Beth grew up.  Pastor Kurt Skelly and the people of Harvest are doing a great job reaching out to their community and have a huge heart for missions.  We were so blessed and humbled to be a part of each conference and see how God is burdening people for missions all around the world.

Though we have finished our conferences for deputation, we still have several meetings before we leave.  Our next meeting is in Pensacola, FL followed by meetings in South Carolina, Mississippi, Illinois, and Connecticut.  As you can see, we still have many hundreds of miles to travel and covet your prayers for our safety.  We are working on getting passports for Charlotte and Clara and will be purchasing our tickets for Honduras in the very near future.  December is an expensive month to travel internationally, and we would appreciate prayers for reasonably priced tickets.  We also need to get shots for all of us before we go as well, so there is much still to do!  Our support level is still  between 70-80%, with much more than that promised but not yet received.  If ever we need the support, financial and prayer, of God’s people it is now!  Thank you for every single prayer and dollar already invested in our ministry.  We do not take a single one for granted.

There is nothing that makes the goer more significant than the sender.  Both are equally vital to the kingdom.” — Eric Skwarczynski
