The New England Tour

We are currently in Newington, Connecticut and loving being able to reconnect with family and friends. It has been an eventful month since I last updated the blog. We traveled to churches in Kentucky, North Carolina, New York, and Massachusetts.
There has been much to update about! We currently have an evangelist and his wife traveling with us. Evangelist Kyle Gilstrap and his wife, Tressa, were serving in the assistant director position of Hoosier Hills Baptist Camp, a place very close to our hearts. We spent time with them and realized that they desire to serve the Lord in evangelism. Our desire to help them as they began this venture soon led us to ask them to travel with us for about a month and a half. We have been able to introduce them to several pastors and churches and make several contacts for their future ministry. Brother Kyle is a true servant of God and would be a help to any ministry. We believe in them and we highly recommend them.
Charlotte enjoys the extra company as well and may have decided she likes Kyle better than anyone else at this time. We are thoroughly enjoying seeing her grow and learn and get to be more fun each and every day. We thank God that He gave her to us.
We have some sad news about Honduras that we would ask you to pray about. Honduras is currently in one of their rainy seasons, but it has not rained. Drought conditions are prevailing and people are starving. An already poor country cannot afford to have 2/3 of their crops fail, but that is exactly what is occurring. Our heart is burdened and we ask that you pray with us for the people in Honduras to receive necessary rain. Also, the ministry that we are going to be helping with is going through some changes in personnel and could use our prayers as well. Please keep Ronnie and Joanne Doss in prayer for health and wisdom. They are doing such a great work and we can’t wait to get there and be a part of it!
Please pray for us as we have several more meetings in the New England area in the next few weeks. We are about to kick off the fall Missions Conference season and it promises to be a whirlwind. We are thrilled to present our work in so many churches in many different states, but it will be thousands of miles on the road in a very short amount of time. We don’t want to take for granted God’s protection on the road. We are currently scheduled to be in church 17 out of 31 days in October, plus a few conferences in September and November as well. Wow! God is so good and we can’t wait to be a part of all of them!
Please continue to pray for our support level to rise in accordance with God’s will. We want to be in Honduras on His timetable, not ours. Thank you for taking the time to read and most importantly, to pray. We appreciate each one of you so much!
